The hits just keep on coming with an exciting weekend of bookmobile stops. Details are below but first we wanted to thank everyone who came out to see us at Home County this past weekend.
We saw so many of you that it was nearly like a dream where EVERYONE from your life is somehow with you at high school. Despite the rain on Saturday, it was a banner Home County, and we were left exhausted and full of ideas. We also found out that our bus is painted the same colour as the Battle Bus in Fortnite (completely unintentional). So there were many Fortnite questions asked as all 12-year-olds and younger presumed we were experts.
We are not.
Tonight we are honoured to be a part of Storybook Gardens’ Free Friday Night Festival. This will be every Friday during the summer too! We are actually going to be INSIDE STORYBOOK where our blue bus will stand alongside Ting-designed attractions. WE ARE GOING TO BE EQUAL TO HUMPTY DUMPTY! Kids get in free and adults are $5. We’ve expanded our kids section as well so if you’re looking for Goosebumps books then get your hiney to Storybook tonight starting at 5:30.
Tomorrow we are at 100 Kellogg Lane for their Art Comp Fun Day between 10am – 6pm. Admission is free for the event and there’s so much to do there. One of London’s best comic book shops, L.A. Mood, is definitely worth a visit. They are in Suite #5. Be sure to say hello to Gord and Carol for us. 100 Kellogg is also home to a trampoline park and a VR studio. Our favourite part is the distillery (obviously). If the Goosebumps books haven’t sold at Storybook, you might get a chance to snap them up tomorrow in the courtyard of 100 Kellogg.
Again, we thank you for your patience as we make all of these radical changes. They are definitely working. Fortnite fans approve! Let’s hope we meet each other soon on the roads of London.
Much love,
Jason and Vanessa
