Le Libertin de Qualite ou Ma Conversion by Comte de Mirabeau
Paris: Aux Editions D'Art de L'Intermediaire du Bibliophile, 1929. 2 volumes. xxxi, [1], 104, 100, [2] pp. 8vo. Series: Prosateurs Libertins du XVIIIe Siecle [18th Century Libertine Prosperity] #2. Limited edition, #201 of 775 (this copy printed on "Annam de rives" paper). In marbled slipcase (worn at edges). Very minor wear to head and heel of spine on both volumes. There is a minor dampstain at heel of spine (again on both volumes). Mild scuff on front cover of volume 2, tiny nick in spine paper of volume 1. Despite these flaws it remains a very good set. Pages are clean. Very good. Original wraps.
Interestingly an edition of this work was released in 1911 with a bibliography by Guillaume Apollinaire as part of Georges & Robert Briffaut's Bibliothèque des Curieux series. This edition's bibliography is by Fernand Mitton.
