Florence Carlyle, 1864-1923: Against all Odds
This book is a rediscovery and reclamation of sorts of one of the more accomplished artists in London and Woodstock, Ontario's history. In 1897 she became the first woman elected into the Royal Canadian Academy. Appendices include artist's letters and tales of student life in Paris.
