Charley Patton by John Fahey

| /

Scarce copy of guitarist Fahey's excellent textual and musicological examination of Delta blues musician Charley Patton, written as Fahey's Master's thesis while attending UCLA. It was later printed in this edition, in both hard and softcover (this is the mildly less scarce softcover edition) and is seen as an accurate, if enigmatic, exploration of Patton's biography and groundbreaking style by another pioneering American guitarist. Filled with charts and documentary material.
