Join Andrew French, Kit Roffey, Alex Chappell, and Aaron Schneider for our first in-person reading of the season!

Andrew French is a writer from North Vancouver, British Columbia. He is the author of two poetry chapbooks: Poems for Different Yous (Rose Garden Press, 2021) and Do Not Discard Ashes (845 Press, 2020). Andrew’s poetry has appeared in journals across North America and the UK. He writes poems, book reviews, and hosts Page Fright: A Literary Podcast. Kit Roffey (They/Them) is a student at Huron College at Western University finishing a Major in English and Cultural Studies and a Minor in Psychology. They were the winner of the 2021 Antler River Poetry contest and their work has appeared in Prairie Fire (2021) and The Stratford Quarterly (2021).

Alex Chappell has been telling stories since before she could speak — ask her grandmother. During the summer of 2020, she had a short story published in a Canadian collection to support first responders. She currently works as a magazine contributor, writing a wide variety of articles. Alex received her BA with an honors specialization in English Literature and creative writing at the University of Western Ontario. Passionate about sharing literature with others, Alex has been involved in the selection committee of the literary magazine, The Rusty Toque, and has volunteered to teach youth to improve their reading skills.

Aaron Schneider is a Founding Editor at The /tƐmz/ Review. His stories have appeared/are forthcoming in The Danforth Review, Filling Station, The Puritan, Hamilton Arts and Letters, Pro-Lit, The Chattahoochee Review, BULL, Long Con, The Malahat Review and The Windsor Review. His stories have been nominated for The Journey Prize and The Pushcart Prize. His novella, Grass-Fed, was published by Quattro Books in Fall 2018. His collection of experimental short fiction, What We Think We Know (Gordon Hill Press) was published in Fall 2021, and his novel, The Supply Chain (Crowsnest Books), is forthcoming in Fall 2022.
