Dear friends,
We hope you have readied most of your Christmas gifts for the season and, unlike us, you won’t be scrambling last minute to fulfill your festive obligations. Here at Brown and Dickson we live in the “best of all possible worlds” world of holiday giving. If you are like us and need some last minute treasures look no further. We have something for each of you.
And with free local delivery it is just that easy to have a little parcel wrapped in brown paper left at your door. As the clock runs down to Christmas Eve we will be driving around our little city delivering books to book people and their bookish loved ones. We will be admiring all of your outdoor Christmas lights. We will be living off boxed chocolate from the local Rexall.
At that local Rexall we will be chatting with the kind postal lady who accepts all of our packages. She works at one near Oxford and Adelaide and she really does know what she’s doing. It’s important to know a smart and kind postal lady. We’ll even share our chocolates with her. What this also means is that if you need Canadian or worldwide shipping now is your chance to do it, although there might be some Praline or Sweet n’ Salty chocolate on the envelope. We do not apologize. Christmas is a time of compassion.
We will wait for a future email to properly thank you for your love this past year. Until then, do check out our collection to see if we can offer you anything to help stock a stocking. Remember that few things say “I love you” or “I think you’re smart” like a weird and wonderful book.
