Event Tonight: Radio Party!!!

Dear friends,

We are very excited to invite you to an event at the shop tonight!

This evening, in the Vintage Showcase parking lot, we will be hosting (with Odyssey Records) our very first RADIO PARTY!

What is Radio Party?

Radio Party is an all-ages event where you come armed with a lawn chair, beverage of choice, and an FM radio to chill and enjoy our LIVE TO AIR FM broadcast by yours truly and the folks at Odyssey Records. That’s right. We’ve bought an entirely legal FM transmitter and are hosting a night of music, banter, and vintage vibes.

Picture a community of chill and friendly music-lovers tailgating together with radios playing the same hyper-local programming. The broadcast only reaches the parking lot SO YOU GOTTA BE THERE TO HEAR IT!

Imagine a BBQ blazing from Crusty’s, the new cafe on Dundas Street, offering hot dogs ON SITE.

Imagine a night of amazing music, sorta relevant patter, and twinkle-vibes in the deep evening of Summer.

Imagine an event where you’re in bed by 10pm!

Imagine an event where you don’t have to get up from your chair for any reason!

Imagine Tammy inappropriately dancing on the bed of her pick-up, oblivious to all those around her.

Imagine just leaning back, eyes closed, the fragrant blossom of hot-dogs filling the air, as EXPERTLY CHOSEN MUSIC takes you to a place without trouble/significance.

If this listless yet ever-present reality sounds like your jam then come out to 1025 Elias Street between 5 and 9pm TONIGHT for some deeply relaxed and communal coolness.

We promise that our awkwardness and lack of professionalism will counter any hipster pressures you might fear.

We’ve been cooking this up for a while so we’re excited.

Also, if you’re at the Pinery Market on Sundays be sure to say hello to Tyler who is running out bookmobile this summer. The bus is all stocked with books and Tyler is good people so tell him you’re name and he’ll be a friend of yours for life.

Hope to see you tonight!

Much love,
Jason & Vanessa
