We made a friend at last week’s visit to the Blackfriars Community Garden
Hello friends,
This weekend our schedule is just two stops. Good stops though. Epic stops. We are going to the Variety Cafe tomorrow morning from 9 am – 1 pm to eat snacks, drink coffee, and sell books. The Variety Cafe is an incredible spot in Woodfield if you haven’t been. We enthusiastically recommend it to anyone in the area. Our second stop is the Pinery Market, a market we did last Sunday and enjoyed immensely. They let us pull our bright blue bus right into their park where we sat all day beneath a pine canopy, selling books to cottagers and regulars, and even made friends with Bob who sells Magic Pens. Bob could sell our own business back to us. He’s that good.
After Sunday we’re taking a much needed break. We’ll be closed next week, heading up north (well, Ontario’s up north which is anywhere north of Toronto) to go completely off-grid at a witch’s cabin. Last year we lost Cooper in the forest and had to chase her through a thunderstorm, our flashlights radiating off the Blair Witch Project totems hanging from branches. Obviously, this is exactly what we like on vacation so we’re going back. We will also be eating terribly, drinking like a sailor, and introducing our little ones to the marvels of nature (smores). If you don’t get a response from us until Thursday don’t take it personally. We’re just lost in a spooky forest.
Until then,
Jason and Vanessa
